Credit Facility Admin
Assign Roles: Credit Facility Admin (All)
Pre- requisite: Credit lines can be set up ONLY if all addresses of counterparties are first set up in the address book
Credit facilities is only available for LCI & GTI system
Click MENU->Facilities à Credit Line List
Under the facilities menu, you have 3 sub menus:
- Credit lines list: will show the user each individual credit lines
- Unit credit lines : show the user all the business unit + lines allocate to each unit (the user only see what he has access to, based on the access rights)
- Credit lines summary : group by bank and show the total of the lines (see below)
On this page, the user see different lines such as
- Total line: total amount allocated to the borrower
- Available : when an instrument is applied à will affect the available amount
- Un-utilized : when an instrument is issued à will affect the “un-utilized”
Click Add New Credit Line
You can input all the relevant information on the main details tab, at minima the mandatory ones.
These are some of the fields to be completed for Credit Line setup:

At the bottom of the table, to select to which module it needs to apply Sub-limit information: Total amount : Nominal and then only use a lower amount for guarantee

You can decided on the “ Shared unit Allocation” to allocate this limit to all the sub-unit automatically. Choose the “ All or Indicated” and save- Once save a new button will appear “ Allocate maximum to all Units”
On the Product sub-limits tab, the user can set up a limit based on the type of guarantee (bid bond, performance…). Click on Add Sub limit.
Enter a description and for which product it should applied. Once this is done, click on “ Next > Edit Triggers”.
You will be able to enter the amount and the enforcement you want for the specific type of undertaking you selected.
On the Unit Sub-limits tab, the user can select which sub-unit can used the facility.
Click on “edit unit sub limits” and then click on “ Add credit line borrower sub units”, Select the sub units by ticking the box on the right and save.
Then, the user can select for each sub unit the sub limits that apply.
Select an enforcement in case that an issuance/amendment would exceed the available amount on the line of credit.
Error=the user is unable to continue
Ignore=no message is given to the user and is able to continue with the issuance
Warning=user gets an error message but is able to continue
Commission Matrix tab
This option allows the user to replicate in the system the pricing structure signed with the bank and to have automatic calculation.
Click on edit to modify information about commissions.
Currency: if not select, the system will use the one of the instrument
Default: Commission will be calculated until the guarantee is closed but can be stop when the guarantee is expired.
Tips:
- The “Amount, min” and the “Valid from, month” of the first range, should be zero.
- The “Amount, max” of the last amount range should be “99,999,999,999,999.00”, the greatest number, accepted in @GlobalTrade.
- The “Valid to, months” of the last validity range for each amount range should be “999”, the greatest number of months accepted in @GlobalTrade.
- Make sure that the commission matrix has no gaps in amounts or validity. You have to finish the validity range for your first amount range before you can enter the next amount range.
Click on “add” to save the information and to add a new entry.
Be careful by clicking on the “update Guarantee commission rate”, it will update all the existing data in the system
Unit ratings tab
Assign a rating to a specific unit. Click on « Edit Rating List” to create a list or rating.
Then click on “ Edit Unit Rating” to update for each sub unit, the rating you want to assigned
Syndication Structure tab
Click on “Edit structure” and add all banks part of the syndication and insert the percentage or an amount for each bank and click on save after entering the effective date.
Then the system will automatically calculate the different amounts and fees.
Fronting Banks tab
Click on Add new bank to add fronting banks to the list. The user can then specifies if the bank collects its own fronting fees or not, the email notification…
Fronting Fee tab
Once the fronting bank has been defined, you can define the fronting fee and the effective date if you click on “Edit”
Fees tab on the guarantee
Once on the Guarantee tab, the user can access two tabs:
- Estimated fees: takes data from commission matrix and estimates the fees, user can overwrite the information by clicking on edit, save and click on “recalculated”
When the fees become due, the user will see a book date and the amount on the table and will be move to the “bank fee” tab (automatic based on the dates)
- Bank fees
The list of all due fees is being moved from estimated fees to bank fees.
