GTK Assistant
The GTK Assistant is a conversational AI embedded in the GTK platform. It answers trade finance questions (contacts, policies, compliance checks, portfolio analyses) by combining the asking user's live transaction data with a curated trade finance knowledge base and, where configured, approved external systems connected via MCP plugins. MCP plugins are specific integrations set up per client organisation; the Assistant does not search the open internet.
The Assistant operates under each user's existing role and permissions: it sees exactly what that user is entitled to see, and nothing more. It never modifies data. Every question and answer is logged with user, company, and timestamp, retained according to banking audit requirements, and available to administrators in a usage report. Answers that reference business data include clickable links back to the originating GTK screen. Private by design, the GTK Assistant complied wit the AI Act - the prompts are never retained by the model provider and never used to train models.
The GTK Assistant will be made available with a pre-defined usage limit.

Available from Day 1
Company Details
- The new Swift formatted field introduced with GTK1.3 becomes mandatory to save a Company if Override Swift Text is set to Yes. The content of these new fields will only be used by GTK after Activation.
Address Book
The new Swift formatted field introduced with GTK1.3 becomes mandatory to save an Address Book entry if Override Swift Text is set to Yes. The content of these new fields will only be used by GTK after Activation.
Early access to SR2026 via dedicated Custom Reports
A background job prepares a SWIFT-compliant version of each existing party address.
Custom Reports are made available at Head Office level in the Report Templates list and surfaces entries that requires user action.
- SWIFT_2026_txn_address_not_compliant: one row per party; compatible with Data Transfer update.
- SWIFT_2026_txn_party_not_compliant: one row per party per transaction, for detailed review.
- SWIFT_2026_credit_line_not_compliant: one row per borrower; compatible with Data Transfer update.
Users can generate these reports and apply corrections via Data Transfer dedicated components. Completing the review before June 12, 2027 keeps this within routine data maintenance.
In all cases, it will be possible to update these record at the time of activation via the User Interface (one record at a time) and/or via Data transfer (bulk changes).
Available After Activation
Company Details
The content of the new formatted field introduced with GTK1.3 is used to pre-fill Credit Line and Transaction Applications if Override Swift Text is set to Yes.
Address Book
The content of the new formatted field introduced with GTK1.3 is used to pre-fill Credit Line and Transaction Applications if Override Swift Text is set to Yes.
Credit Line & Transactions
The field Name and Address is replaced by 5 structured fields (Name, Address, City, Zip/Postal Code and Country) for all Corporate parties (such as: Applicant, Borrower, Obligor and Beneficiary) in GTI, LCE and GTR modules. This new structure is not applicable to Bank parties (ex: Issuer or Advising Bank).
- An Update button on issued transactions (screen SC800E) allows to update applicant, beneficiary, borrower or obligor addresses one party at a time during the grace period. Access is role-controlled, and the update applies to the transaction only, not the Address Book nor the Credit Line.
-
Other fields added:
- In All Instruments (GTI, LCE, GTR)
- 45H - HS Code: new field allowing commodity classification codes to be recorded against a transaction.
- In Bank Guarantees and Standby LCs (GTI, GTR)
- 44P - Place of Jurisdiction: previously stored as part of the combined 44J field; now available as a separate structured SWIFT tag.
- 53C - Settlement Account: previously captured at guarantee level; now also available in the Extend or Pay message.
- 31C - Requested Date of Issue: introduced in a new usage context for guarantee issuance.
- In Letters of Credit (LCE)
- 44I - Incoterms: trade terms are moved from the 45A goods description narrative into a dedicated structured field.
- In All Instruments (GTI, LCE, GTR)
GTK/Market Strengthened Integration
Open in Market Button
A new "Open in Market" button is available in GTK. Clicking it opens the corresponding record in Komgo Market in a new browser tab.
Bidding on GTI and LCE from Komgo Market
Users can now bid on Guarantee Issuance (GTI), Guarantee Received (GTR), and Export Documentary Credit (LCE) instruments directly from the Komgo Market platform, completing the end-to-end bid flow for all three instrument types. LCE bidding applies to LCE only.
LC Creation from an Accepted Market Quote: LCE
A new "Market RFQ List" view is available in Export Documentary Credit (LCE). When a user selects an accepted quote from this list, a new LC is created in manual mode with draft status. The following fields are pre-filled from the quote:
- Currency and Amount (32B)
- Applicable Rules (40E)
- Issuing Bank (52D)
- Available By (41D)
- Form of Documentary Credit (40A/B)
- Confirmation Instructions (49)
This applies to LCE only. The LC is created in manual mode.
Quote Details in GTK: Winning Bank, Confirming Bank, and Tenor
After a Market quote is accepted, the winning bank and issuing bank details are displayed in GTK for LCE and GTI. When the accepted quote includes a correspondent bank, GTK also automatically fills the Confirming Bank field: in LCE for all relevant quotes; in GTI when the instrument is a Standby LC with Confirmation Indicator set to "Confirm" or "May Add Confirmation." The Tenor field from the quote is now visible in the GTK Market RFQ details view, giving users a complete picture of quote terms in one place.
UI/UX Enhancements
New UI activated to all, old UI becomes deprecated after GTK2.0
The new GTK User Interface is now finalized and has been activated to all. It offers a cleaner, more modern look with collapsible sections that improve navigation of large input forms.
Kindly note the old User Interface will no longer be maintained after GTK2.0 version.
New Module Icons
Module icons in GTK have been redesigned with a distinct colour per instrument type: GTI in Red GTR in Purple, LCI in Forest Green, LCE in Magenta, DCi in Royal Blue, DCE in Amber, and CMS in Light Blue.
Copy and Edit Tasks and Alarms
Tasks and alarms in GTK are fully reusable: users can copy an existing one as a starting point or edit it in place, so recurring setups are ready in seconds.
Report Template Counter
The report template screen (SC037D) shows how many fields are currently selected, with a warning when the maximum of 75 is reached. The count includes grouped fields, so the limit is always applied accurately.
Q-Form
New fields added to Q-Form
Fifteen SWIFT fields previously available only on the main Guarantee Application (long form) can now be configured and used on the Q-Form:
- 39F – Additional Amounts Covered
- 41A – Available With
- 48B – Demand Indicator
- 23F – Automatic Extension Period
- 26E – Automatic Extension Notification Period
- 31S – Automatic Extension Period Final Expiry Date
- 78 – Non-Extension Notification
- 49Z – Special Agreements
- 45C – Presentation Instructions
- 25A – Bank Account No. of Charges
- 53C – Bank Account No. of Liability
- 29S – Customer Identifier
- 37J – Undertaking Value in % (read-only)
- 22K – Local Guarantee Type
- 52A – Local Guarantor BIC
Each field can be set as visible, mandatory, or optional in the Field Configurator (SC341D) and flows through to the guarantee transaction view (SC800E) on Send Request. On existing Q-Form templates, all new fields arrive hidden by default and must be enabled per template in the Field Configurator.
Access Control, Roles and Workflow Approval Modules (WAM)
New Role G172: GTI Bidding in Komgo Market
A new role G172 enables designated users to participate in Komgo Market bidding for Guarantee Issuance (GTI) instruments in Pending Completion status.
Approve Action Visibility and New LCI Role
The Approve action is displayed for all GTI request types: Application, Amendment, Reduction, and Extend-or-Pay.
A new role "ILC ISS In Process" has been added for Import Documentary Credit (LCI). Users with this role see a single "Set to In Process" button when an instrument is in Ready for Review status.
WAM extension to new roles (GTI)
WAM approval workflows now apply to three additional Guarantee Issuance (GTI) status transitions: Issued to Expired, Expired to Issued, and Issued to Closed. All three now follow the same configurable approval process as other GTI actions, giving full oversight across the instrument lifecycle.
Automation
Variable Substitution in GTI Guarantee Text Files
GTI users can now upload .rtf or .docx guarantee wording templates with [[variable]] placeholders directly in the Guarantee Text tab. On download, GTK automatically replaces each placeholder with the live transaction value for that guarantee. A link to the variable reference screen is available near the upload field, so users can check available placeholder names without leaving the workflow. This feature applies to GTI only.
Security and Infrastructure
Microsoft Graph API: Email Transport
Microsoft Graph API is now available as an alternative to SMTP for sending emails from GTK:
- Configured per head office via administration screen SC813A (one Microsoft 365 account per head office)
- Account credentials are encrypted in production
- SMTP remains as fallback when the feature is switched off, no account is configured, or the account is disabled
- MFA emails continue to use SMTP for users belonging to multiple head offices
- Email attachments via this channel are limited to 3 MB
This feature is switched off by default and activated per head office.
ClamAV Removal and Framework Upgrade
Attachment scanning in GTK is now consolidated on AttachmentAV, the active antivirus provider since February 2026, as a single cloud-native protection layer. This strengthens the platform's security posture. Any existing ClamAV configuration is updated automatically on upgrade.
The GTK front-end framework has been upgraded from Angular 19.2 to Angular 21.2.9 and the build toolchain from Nx 20 to Nx 23.0.2. There is no change to functionality or the user interface.
